Jot Wellness Centre Inc. has openings for Service Associates- Medical (NOC code 33102) at our location 6 Sky Harbour Dr Suite 2, Brampton, ON L6Y 0C1. If you have what it takes to be successful in this career, then this is right position for you.

As a Service Associate- Medical (NOC code 33102), you will perform all or some of the following duties:

·         Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment

·         Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment

·         Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort

·         Perform other duties related to personal care

·         Supply and empty bed pans

·         Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse

·         Serve meal trays and feed patients

·         Weigh, lift, turn and position patients

·         Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments

·         Supervise patients’ exercise routines

·         Maintain inventory of supplies

·         Bathe, dress and groom patients

·         Transport patients between care facilities

·         Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher

·         Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs

·         Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas

·         Administer first aid in emergency situations

Work Setting: Rehabilitation centre and special health institution

Education Qualifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.

Compensation: CAD $36.50/hour
